Mrs. Christine Tiller

Mrs. Christine Malissia Rice Tiller, 85, of Royston, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Baptist Village Nursing Home in Waycross, GA. Mrs. Tiller was born in Royston, GA on March 21, 1930, daughter of the late Lee John Rice and the late Drue Willie Garrett Rice. She was a retired English teacher and Librarian having worked with the Franklin County School System and was a member of the Royston Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tiller was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Tiller; and brother, Garrett Rice. Survivors include her sister, Susan Cone of Waycross, GA and her children, Jensi Holloway and Brad Cone, also of Waycross, GA. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Tiller will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Hugh Kirby and Rev. Jonathan Barlow officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, GA. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. The family is at the home of Janet Rice.
