Mr. David Ray "Tiny" Bryant

Mr. David Ray “Tiny” Bryant, 66, of Canon, GA passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his home. Mr. Bryant was born in Athens, Georgia, on June 23, 1951, son of the late Horace Ray Bryant and the late Mary Ruth Jones Bryant. He was a truck driver for 27 years having retired from Bulldog Trucking; was Governor of the Moose Lodge; a member of Blood Bought Motorcycle Ministries and praise team. Mr. Bryant was also an U. S. Army Veteran and a member of Bowman Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in the death by a son, Joseph Bryant and sister, Judy Bryant Reddish. Survivors include his sons, John (Rhonda) Bryant and Michael (Alisia) Jordan, both of Hartwell, GA; daughter, Tammy “Cricket” Sutton of Hartwell, GA; sister, Virginia “Jennie” Bryant Bruce of Athens, GA; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; friend and caregiver, Melinda Umholtz. Funeral services for Mr. Bryant will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, with Rev. Thomas Suttles and Rev. Thomas Carver officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery in Canon, GA. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening. The family is at the home. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
