Mrs. Deborah Jean Patrick Hart, 64, of Lavonia, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at the Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. Mrs. Hart was born in Farmington, GA on September 30, 1956, daughter of the late John Patrick and the late Susie Fowler Patrick. She was a line operator having worked at Fenner-Dunlop. Mrs. Hart was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia, GA where she was a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School assistant, director of Christmas plays and member of the Ladies in Faith group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Patrick and Ronnie Patrick. Survivors include her husband, James Vernon Hart; son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Amanda Dobbs of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Cade Dobbs and Carrington Dobbs; brothers, John Patrick of Athens, GA and Dale Patrick of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Hart will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2020, in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Forbes and Rev. Bruce Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 250 Pleasant Grove Road Lavonia, GA 30553. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
