Mr. Donald Bruce Jennings, 55, of Royston, GA passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at his home. Mr. Jennings was born in Union, SC on April 10, 1959, son of the late Drayton Jennings, Sr. and the late Grace Lucille Crawford Jennings. He was a mechanic and a member of the Vanna United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Nita Thomas Jennings of Royston, GA; children, Donald Bruce Jennings, II of Royston, GA, Amy Jennings of Snellville, GA, Angela Thornton of Athens, GA; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Drayton Kelly "D.K." Jennings, Jr.; sister, Laura Dickerson of Hartwell, GA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jennings was preceded in death by one daughter, Chrystal Stansell; brother, Aaron Jennings; sister, Gail Jennings. Funeral services for Mr. Jennings will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2014, at Vanna United Methodist Church with Dr. Rev. Lacey Bowcock officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014. The family is at the home. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
