Elizabeth Vaughn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Elizabeth Sanders Vaughn, 95, of Hartwell, GA passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Hart Care Center in Hartwell, GA. Mrs. Vaughn was born in Washington, GA on March 07, 1920, daughter of the late Henry Walter Sanders and the late Ethel Ginn Sanders. Mrs. Vaughn was twice married, first to the late Noah Bennett and second to the late Roger Paul Vaughn. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents and spouses, Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her daughter, Bernice Eaton; and a grandson, Vince Sanders. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Nelda Bennett of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Dana Bennett, Gina Bennett, Nick Sanders, and Todd Bennett; great grandchildren, Justin Sanders, Hugh Bennett, and Bain Bennett. Funeral services for Mrs. Vaughn will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until funeral hour on Sunday afternoon. The family is at the home of Nick Sanders, 710 Rocksprings Road, Lavonia, GA 30553. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
