Mr. Ernest Robert Dove

Mr. Ernest Robert Dove, 91, of Nicholson, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Bentley Assisted Living at Northminister in Jefferson, Georgia. Mr. Dove was born in Danielsville, Georgia on July 15, 1924, son of the late Ernest Victor Dove and the late Myrtie Stonecypher Dove. He was a civilian mechanic having worked on the Robbins Air Force Base and a retired United States Navy Veteran having served during WWII. After his retirement he worked with Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens, Georgia. Mr. Dove was a former member of Whitehall Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia. He was currently a member of the Brockton Road Baptist Church in Jefferson. Mr. Dove is survived by his wife, Azalee Davis Dove; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Nancy Dove of Nicholson, Georgia; and granddaughter, Jamie Dove of Athens, Georgia. A graveside service for Mr. Dove was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016, at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston, Georgia. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, Georgia was in charge of arrangements.
