Mr. Joe Price

Mr. Joe Edward Price, 76, of Royston, GA passed away on Monday, November 04, 2013, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. Mr. Price was born in Franklin County, GA on September 23, 1937, son of the late Joe Penick Price and the late Ella Julia Bowen Price. He was a construction superintendent for Vandiver Construction. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Fowler Price of Royston, GA; children, Mark, Stephanie, Stephen and Stacy; grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Avery, Colby, Katelyn and Levi; great grandchild, Brayden; brothers and sisters, Jean, Leland, Polly, Shelby, Hazel and Dennis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Price was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie. Special thanks to our camping gang at Moccasin Creek State Park. Memorial services for Mr. Price will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 06, 2013, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Jerome Hill and Mr. Gene Sexton officiating. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour Wednesday afternoon. The family is at the home.
