Mrs. Kathleen Sexton

Mrs. Kathleen Wilbanks Sexton of Hull, GA passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the St. Mary's Hospice House in Bogart, GA. Mrs. Sexton was born in Jackson County, GA on November 10, 1931, daughter of the late James O. Wilbanks and the late Alma Farmer Wilbanks. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Joseph Sexton. Survivors include her daughters, Carol A. Porter of Hull, GA, Connie S. Fortson of Danielsville, GA, Brenda S. Frye of Hull, GA, and Glenda S. Huff of Harvest, AL; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother, Willie Wilbanks of Athens, GA; sister, Mildred Patton of Bogart, GA. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her brother Ernest Wilbanks. Funeral services for Mrs. Sexton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Shelton and Rev. Barry Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family is at the home of Carol and David Porter, 270 Amberly Drive, Hull, GA 30646. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
