Mrs. Lucy Pulliam Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Lucy Moon Pulliam, 103, of Royston, GA passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Royston, GA on October 27, 1912, daughter of the late John Bill and Bessie Scarboro Moon. She was a weaver having worked at Candlewick Yarns and a member of New Bethel Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Shirley Pulliam of Royston, GA; grandchildren, David Pulliam, Terri Kesler, Marsha Beck, Alice Pulliam and Scott Pulliam; brother, Lee Moon of Anderson, SC; eleven great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pulliam was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Pulliam; brothers, DuPree Moon, Wiley Moon and Johnny Moon; and sisters, Annie Scarboro, Ruby Vaughn and Lila Hendrix. Funeral services will be held at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 3, 2016, at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Chris Pritchett and Rev. Clay Huff officiating. Interment will follow in the New Bethel Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. The family is at the home. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
