Mr. Phil Brian McGarity

Mr. Phil Brian McGarity, 64, of Royston, GA passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home. Mr. McGarity was born in Toccoa, GA on January 7, 1958, son of the late Perry H. McGarity and the late Lucy Jane Pulliam McGarity Jordan. He was a warehouse worker having worked for Walmart and was a truck driver having worked for Pulliam Trucking Company. Mr. McGarity was also a member of the Vanna United Methodist Church in Royston. Survivors include his daughters, Kristen Ashley McGarity of Pittsburgh, PA and Katelyn Brianna McGarity of New Iberia, LA. Funeral services for Mr. McGarity will be held in the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, with Rev. Dr. Gale Seibert officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening. During other times the family will be at their respective homes. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
