Mr. Thomas Stephen Crowe Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas S. Crowe, 88, passed away on March 26, 2022. He passed peacefully at his Fayetteville, NC home. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Reggie) Till; grandsons, Bryan (Julie) Till and Stephen (Nicky) Till; and great granddaughters, Abigail, Emma and Brynley Till. He is also survived by other dear extended family. Steve was born in Madison County, GA on June 26, 1933, and was the son of the late Charles Ernest and Ruth Bond Crowe. He retired from Westinghouse/ABB but worked at Emmanuel College, Dill’s Food City and in his yards after retirement. He was a member of the Royston First United Methodist Church, Royston, GA. While residing in North Carolina, he attended Northwood Temple Church in Fayetteville, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of almost 68 years, Frances Phillips Crowe; brothers, Quinton, Leroy, and Price Crowe; and sister, Louella Crowe Drake Holden. Steve was under the care of his daughter and son-in-law, Cape Fear Hospice, and countless other caretakers, including friends and family, during the last months of his life. Funeral services for Mr. Crowe will be held in the Royston First United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, with Rev. Matt Parker, Mr. Reggie Till, Mr. Bryan Till and Rev. Philip Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens- South in Royston. The family will receive friends at Royston First United Methodist Church from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour on Friday afternoon. During other times the family will be at their respective homes. Flowers are optional; memorials may be made to the Royston First United Methodist Church at 137 Franklin Springs Street Royston, GA 30662. Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
